The educational group, inspired by the great Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap, has its foundation laid with the vision to uphold the values of patriotism, culture, and freedom. The founder, Shri Ram Singh Bhadauria, established the group in 1995, naming it in honor of Maharana Pratap. The group initially set up K12 schools and later expanded to include institutions in Engineering, Management, Information Technology, Pharmacy, and Dental colleges in Kanpur and Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, until 2010.

In 2011, the group took a significant step by establishing Pratap University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with a mission to provide quality education globally. The university offers various courses in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Information Technology, Education, Basic Science & Humanities, and Library Science & Mass Communication. The campus is spread over a hundred acres with well-furnished hostel facilities, modern infrastructure, and well-equipped libraries and labs.
