Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a prominent seat of higher technical education in India. It was officially established on September 26, 2018, under The Delhi Netaji Subhas University of Technology Act, 2017. Prof. Jai Prakash Saini is the Founder Vice-Chancellor of NSUT, New Delhi.

Previously known as Delhi Institute of Technology, NSUT started its journey in 1983 with the goal of addressing the increasing demand for skilled manpower in the fields of engineering and technology. Initially, it operated as an Autonomous Institution under the Government of NCT of Delhi and was affiliated to the University of Delhi.
