Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University is a Govt. university located in Sonipat Haryana. The University  was established in 2012 by State Government of Haryana. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Bar Council of India. The University is duly recognized by UGC u/s 2(f) and is empowered to award degrees specified u/s 22 of UGC Act 1956.

As a tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a great social reformer and architect of our present legal system and the Constitution, the State Legislature of Haryana through an amendment in 2014 changed the name of this University to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat. The University has its own space wherein the campus is coming up with high speed currently is under construction is situated in the education hub of India – Rajiv Gandhi Educational City, Rai, Sonepat – where more than thirteen renowned educational institutions and universities are located and are functional. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University has created quite a name for itself over the years. It is recognized Act of State Legislator Act no. 15, of 2012. Hostel:

The university provides hostel facilities with 144 rooms available for boys & 244 rooms for girls separately. Hostel rooms provide facilities like a cupboard, separate study rooms with the connectivity of computers & internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms and attached toilet facilities. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University hostel is situated inside the Sonipat, campus. DBRANLU hostel rooms are available on basis of sharing. One hostel room can accommodate 3 people.  There are 144 rooms available for boys & the remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel can accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college hostel rules as per the management.
