Dharmashastra National Law University started its journey in the field of professional education with the establishment of (DNLU) M.P, in the year 2018. The University offers (DNLU) courses at various levels like  B.A., LL.B. (HONS.), LL.M. The ancient legal system was based upon the concept of supremacy of dharma. Dharma is the Sanskrit expression of the most comprehensive import. It is difficult to define precisely, but it can be explained. The word “dharma” is sometimes used to refer to justice (Nyaya). It implies what is right in a given circumstance and includes moral values of right, pious obligations of individuals, righteous conduct in every sphere of activity, being helpful to other living beings, giving charity to individuals in need of it or to a public cause, or alms to the needy. Dharma also connotes the idea of duty and law.

The university has a spacious centralized air-conditioned library with a facility of 4 reading rooms.  The library consists of 13,502 books with more than 200 national and international journals. Also, the library has a subscription of 1,349 e-journals. Computer, along with internet facilities is provided to both student and teaching staff.

Hostel:

The university provides hostel facilities with 144 rooms available for boys & 244 rooms for girls separately. Hostel rooms provide facilities like a cupboard, separate study rooms with the connectivity of computers & internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms and attached toilet facilities. Dharmashastra National Law University hostel is situated inside the Jabalpur, campus. DNLU hostel rooms are available on basis of sharing. One hostel room can accommodate 3 people.  There are 144 rooms available for boys & the remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel can accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college hostel rules as per the management.
