was established in 2009 by Government of Himachal Pradesh. It was sponsored by
K D Education Trust. The university is approved by UGC. The campus of Arni
University is spread across 120-acre lush green area. Arni University offers
around 100 undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma courses in nine
streams. Arni University offers admission to various programmes based on merit
and entrance exam score.

Andhra
Pradesh Fisheries University started its journey in the field of
professional education with the establishment of (AU) University of Kangra,
Himachal Pradesh in the year 2009. The University offers (AU) courses are offered at
various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.sc in PCM,

Arni University has created quite a name for itself
over the years. It is recognized Act No.23 of 2009 of Government of Himachal
Pradesh and approved by the UGC, vide Notification No- F No 8-5/2010(CPP-1/PU),
dated 03 Mar 2010, under Section 2 (f) of UGC Act, 1956 with the objective to
promote inter-disciplinary Higher Education and Research in the needy areas of
Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and J&K.
Admission
to this college is take the admission in Andhra Pradesh Fisheries college, The candidate who satisfies
the relevant eligibility criteria can register themselves by obtaining the
concerned application form and submitting it upon completion along with the
prescribed fee. Students will be shortlisted for all courses (except MBA and
MCA) on the basis of their qualifying degree merit whereas, in case of MBA and
MCA, the entrance examination will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Examination
Authority.
Library:
The
university has a spacious centralized air-conditioned library with a facility
of 4 reading rooms. The library consists of 13,502 books with more than
200 national and international journals. Also, the library has a subscription
of 1,349 e-journals. Computer, along with internet facilities is provided to
both student and teaching staff.
Hostel:
The
university provides hostel facilities with 144 rooms available for boys &
244 rooms for girls separately. Hostel rooms provide facilities like a
cupboard, separate study rooms with the connectivity of computers &
internet, comfortable beds, bathrooms and attached toilet facilities. Andhra
Pradesh Fisheries hostel is situated inside the Kangra
campus. AU hostel rooms are available on basis of sharing. One hostel room can
accommodate 3 people. There are 144 rooms available for boys & the
remaining 244 rooms are available for girls separately. The hostel can
accommodate nearly 600 students. All students need to follow the college hostel
rules as per the management.
