The Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust (GECT) founded by ‘Guru’ Sri Sivananda Murthy Garu in 1982 with the objective of imparting quality education.During 1990’s the Trust established Lalitha Degree College at Nampally, Hyderabad with Undergraduate Courses – B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. Ever since, the GECT has established colleges offering Engineering, Pharmacy, Education, Management and Computer Applications programs.

Admission to this college is completely based on merit. Admission to the UG courses is based on the performance of the candidates in the NEET examination and admission to the PG courses is based on their performance in NEET PG examination. The Central Library has one of the best collections of information sources in technology, management, science and engineering-related disciplines. The library has a large collection of text reference books and multimedia which is continuously updated with the latest editions. It subscribes to international periodicals, databases and online journals.

The library maintains an intranet website through which students can access online databases, journals and catalogues anywhere in the campus using Wi-Fi connectivity. The library has the subscription of DELNET.

Hostel

Anurag University provides comfortable and well-appointed hostel accommodation to students both on-campus and off- campus. Room accommodation is extended on a firstcome- first-serve basis to students. Students can avail hostel rooms either on a single or a shared basis.

Sports:

Anurag University believes that sports plays a pivotal role in moulding one's personality and maintaining good health. We've specially developed a sports-centric environment that matches international standards and gives a truly global experience to all our students. Moreover, the university celebrates an Annual Sports Day every year to provide a platform to our students to exhibit their athletic talents in front of their friends and family.
