Acharya
Nagarjuna University has completed three decades of its existence. It was
inaugurated on 11th September 1976 by the former President of India, Sri
Fakruddin Ali Ahmed. There have been many problems, difficulties, and teething
problems in its onward march. In the course of the last 30 years, the
University has successfully overcome most of the initial problems and is moving
forward with determination, enthusiasm, and hope. From the corridors of a local
polytechnic college in Nallapadu to the imposing buildings in Nagarjuna Nagar,

Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Library:
The
Library of the Acharya Nagarjuna University became set up on 19th August 1976
through the up-gradation of the erstwhile Andhra University P.G. Centre hooked
up withinside the yr 1967. The A.U.P.G Centre Library series of 18,900 files as
of that date has become the nucleus for the Acharya Nagarjuna University
Library.
The
Library has 3 floorings and one Cellar. The overall plinth vicinity of the
construction is set at 3,000 Square feet. The principal functionaries of the
library are the Circulation, Periodicals, Reference, Acquisition, Binding, and

Admission
The
admissions to B.Tech, B.Sc, and B.Pharm programs are based on JEE Main and AP
EAMCET scores. Admission to the B.Arch. program is granted solely on the basis
of the candidate’s performance in NATA. Admission to all the other UG courses
is done on the basis of merit secured in the last qualifying exams.
